Paul Newton

Child of God, Paul Charles Newton, looked into the smiling face of his Lord on Saturday, June 19, 2004. Paul was born in Austin, Texas, on September 1, 1948, and is preceded in death by parents, Eldon and Rebecca Newton. From childhood, Paul was nurtured by caregivers at Austin, Travis, Brenham and Richmond State Schools. Though separated by miles, Paul lived in the hearts of his parents and those who have survived him: brothers and their wives, Albert and Donna, and Tim and Maria, as well as many family members. Although mentally challenged, Paul served his purpose for the Lord with his gentle spirit and sense of humor. A blessing on earth, Paul is rejoicing in heaven, whole and renewed, to the glory of God. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, in the Houston National Cemetery Chapel in Houston.
