Pauline Falkenberg

Pauline Marie Falkenberg, 87, of Houston, died Saturday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Born March 13, 1917, to John W. and Augusta Schmiegel Finke, she was baptized and confirmed in St. John United Church of Christ in Burton. On November 1, 1936, she was married to Elwin Falkenberg. She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Houston, and a member of Sons of Hermann. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law; Gary & Doris Falkenberg of Jersey Village: brother; Fritz Finke of Round Top: grandsons and their wives; Craig & Donna Falkenberg of Houston and Jason & Deidre Falkenberg of Waller: great grandchildren, Justin Falkenberg and Emily Falkenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elwin Falkenberg, two sons, Warren and Lyndon Falkenberg, one sister and one granddaughter. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be given to Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Houston. The funeral service for Pauline Marie Falkenberg will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Reverend John Cain officiating. Burial will be in the La Bahia Cemetery near Burton. Pallbearers will be Craig Falkenberg, Jason Falkenberg, Marvin Roehling, Danny Keilers, Fritz Finke and Milton Fuchs. Honorary pallbearer will be Justin Falkenberg. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street in Brenham.
