Peter Krolczyk

Peter Paul Mr. Pete Krolczyk, 90, of Chappell Hill, died June 9, 2005, in Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy. Mr. Krolczyk was born June 21, 1914, in Chappell Hill, to Joe Frank and Eleanor Mozdenski Krolczyk. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill. Mr. Krolczyk attended Armstrong School, St. Stanislaus Catholic School and Chappell Hill School. On Feb. 19, 1936, he was married to Annie Zientek in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill. Mr. Krolczyk was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where he was a member of the choir. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Krolczyk was formerly employed as a farmer, longshoreman, restaurant operator and pecan harvester. He also worked at Daniel Industries and operated a meat processing company. Survivors include his wife, Annie Krolczyk of Chappell Hill; six sons and seven daughters-in-law, Valerian and Pat Krolczyk of Waller, John and Elizabeth Krolczyk of Hempstead, Eddie Joe and Kathy Krolczyk of Cypress, Raymond and Janet Krolczyk of Cypress, Robert and Lois Krolczyk of Houston, Richard and Connie Krolczyk of Navasota; and Rebecca Jo Krolczyk of Cypress; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Bibian Machos of Houston, Angeline Freeman of Waco, Dorothy and Tom Morse of Santa Cruz, California, Louise and Mike Descant of Jersey Village, Bernadine and Robert Bosse of Chappell Hill, Lawreen and James Parker of Chappell Hill and Patricia and Charles Balke of Industry; two brothers, Charlie Krolczyk of Chappell Hill and David Krolczyk of Houston; two sisters, Emily Dziedzic of Spring and Janie Machack of Chappell Hill; 26 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Edwin Pete Krolczyk; his son-in-law, Marion Machos; two grandchildren, Daniel Mark Krolczyk and Cheryl Dawn Krolczyk; and three brothers. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12 in Memorial Oaks Chapel, with the rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 13 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill with Msgr. Ben Mazurkiewicz and Msgr. Benedict Zientek, celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Descant, Blake Krolczyk, Glen Krolczyk, Scott Krolczyk, Shawn Krolczyk, Ryan Parker, Nicolas Balke, Michael Bosse and Matthew Krolczyk. Memorials may be given to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church organ fund.
