Peter Wisnoski, Jr.

Peter Paul John Wisnoski, Jr., 85, died December 26, 2017 in Houston.

The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill, With Father Josef Muziol, Officiant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, with a Rosary to be held at 7 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Pete Wisnoski was born June 12, 1932 in Chappell Hill to Peter Paul and Kathrine Kubeczka Wisnoski. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill, where he continued membership until his death.

Pete completed his education in California, graduating from Sacramento High School, and attended Sacramento City College. He worked as a Data Processing Supervisor for Teledyne Exploration.

He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. Pete was a member of the Buddy Wright Post of the American Legion, the VFW, Knights of Columbus of Chappell Hill, and SPJST.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Ann and Rick Hern of Citrus Heights, California, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Merriek Wisnoski. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Serving as pallbearers are James Wisnoski, Richard Wisnoski, Michael Wisnoski, Eugene Wisnoski, Billy Joe Wisnoski, Gerald Wisnoski, Raymond Wisnoski, and Charle Wisnoski.

Memorials may be directed to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill.
