Rachel Dominguez

Rachel Ann Dominguez, 22, of Brenham, died August 21, 2011 in Brenham. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Chappell Hill. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a wake service to be held at 7 p.m. Rachel was born April 11, 1989 in Houston to Richard and Theresa Perez Dominguez. A 2007 graduate of Brenham High School, she was a member of the local Girl Scout Troop #359. Rachel was also a member of the Brenham High School band. She was employed as a pharmacy tech in training for Brookshire Bros. in Brenham. She was a loving mother, sister and a wonderful daughter. Survivors include her son, Gabriel Romero; daughters Isabella Romero and Gabriela Romero, all of Brenham; brother, Eric Perez of Austin; sisters Krystle DeLa Garza of Houston and Sarah Dominguez of Austin; grandmothers Tillie Dominguez of Houston and Maria Nowak of Houston, as well as numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Encarnacion Perez and Jim Perez Dominguez. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Guillermo Imelda Rachel Ronald Memorial Fund at any Citizens State Bank in the area.
