Randy Sklar

Randy Sklar of Brenham passed away on April 18, 2018 in Hospice Brazos Valley InPatient Facility.

Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, April 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Eben-Ezer Lutheran Church with Pastor Ken Weiss officiating.

Randy was born on August 3, 1953 in Abilene TX to John and Dorothy Hagan Sklar. Randy is a graduate of Brenham High School, served in the United States Navy, and retired from MIC on May 29, 2015 after 27 years of dedicated service.
Randy is survived by his immediate family: his true love Mary Steinfeld Sklar; Alexis Sklar and John Florer; and Leann, Matt, Noah, Brianna, Ayden, and Paisley Huston. Other Survivors include Aunts Ann Smith, Hazel Zak, and Olivia Lane; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Pat and Jerry Schwartz, Clarence Steinfeld and Sherry Parker, Ray Steinfeld, Judy Steinfeld and Larry Autrey, and Janice Steinfeld; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Randy is also survived by so many friends that were a great part of his life.

Randy is enjoying a wonderful and joyous reunion in Heaven with many loving family members and great friends including his parents, brother Ricky, his Grandparents, parents-in-law Buck and Ella Mae Steinfeld, brother-in-law Raymond Steinfeld Jr., and our fur babies Heidi, Lucy, Pierre, and Daisy.

Randy will be greatly missed; he leaves us with many memories to share and treasure. He always enjoyed fishing, computer games, trips to Louisiana, reading the works of Nostradamus, and his love for our fur babies Oliver, Maggie, Arielle, and Thor.
