Rhonda Conner

Rhonda Gale Conner, 55, of Brenham, died on June 6, 2015, at the home of her daughter Kassie. She was the wife of Tony Wayne Conner. Funeral services are at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastor Mark Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, June 8 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Rhonda was born on September 15, 1959 at Bohne Memorial Hospital in Brenham to Henry William and Secilia Marie Schroeder Hendrickson. On February 24, 1979, Rhonda married Tony Wayne Conner. She worked at Springtown ISD as a teacher''s paraprofessional for special needs. Her students were very important to her, and she enjoyed working and being with them. She was a 1978 graduate of Brenham High School and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Brenham. Rhonda''s family was very important to her especially going to the children''s and grandchildren''s sporting events. She loved to smile and always made people feel welcomed. The holidays were always important to her especially being with the family. She loved her girls'' trips with her family and always bringing laughter to the gathering. Survivors include: husband, Tony Wayne Conner of Brenham, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jaylon and Caitlin Conner of Cypress; daughters and son-in-law, Kassie Conner of Brenham and Krissie and Jake Zorn of Brenham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Hendrickson of Bellville, Henry and Marcy Hendrickson of Brenham, Ricky and Paula Hendrickson of Brenham; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and Adolph Schaefer of Brenham, Gloria and Steve Shrock of Hempstead, Cheryl and Darrell Meier of Brenham and Margaret Reuter of Brenham; grandchildren, Conner Holcomb Zorn, Tinley Ryan Conner, Karsyn Grey Zorn and step-grandson Brody Zorn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas Raleigh and Martha Jean Conner of Ozona; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Shelly Conner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Secilia Hendrickson. Serving as pallbearers will be: Jason Brending, Justin Brending, Nicholas Vierus, Steven Shrock, Travis Medve, Dwayne Breshears, Scott Eckermann, Randy Klussmann, and Jim Long.
