Richard Jennings

Richard Wayne Jennings, 45, of Brenham, Texas, died Sept. 22, 2004, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Jennings was born Jan. 5, 1959, in Houston, Texas, to William Bernard and Louanna Armer Jennings. He was baptized in January, 1959, in Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Houston. He graduated in special education from Scarborough High School in Houston. Mr. Jennings was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and was employed as a packager for Brenham Production Services. Survivors include his mother, Louanna Armer Jennings of Chappell Hill; brother, William Scott Jennings of Brenham; sister, Carol Jennings Owens and husband Harvey T. Owens of Houston; and niece, Amanda Marianna Owens of Houston. Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 in Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastor Matthew Jacobs and Pastor William Holzer officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church or Sunday School. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
