Richard Reeves

Richard (Rick) George Reeves, 64, died February 3, 2020 in Bryan, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Shea Berbaum officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mr. Reeves was born on May 19, 1955 to Johnnie and Willie Mae (Herzog) Reeves. He was baptized and confirmed at Zionsville Lutheran Church.

Rick liked to bbq and try new recipes. He really enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, playing guitar and harmonica in several bands. He also enjoyed backpacking through the mountains when he was younger with friends. He graduated from Brenham High School in 1973, and graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors Degree in Science. He was employed as a product engineer at Xylem for twenty-four years. He loved spending his last few years with his grandkids and daughters.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Reeves and Samantha Hopkins; sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Neal Holden; grandchildren, Mariah, Makayla, and Michael; other relatives, Brittnay and Adam Shaw, Presley Shaw, Johnny Wayne McLendon, and Michelle Rasberry; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Willie Mae Reeves.

Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Myrick, Neal Holden, Seth Williforce, Billie Joe Marshall, Sam Murski, Cliff Grothe, Trace Fricke, Scott Howard, and Donnie Gilley.
