Robert Fairman

Robert Burnett Fairman, 75, husband of Anita Fairman, died June 6, 2018 in Brenham.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastors Matthew Jacobs and William Holzer officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Robert Fairman was born August 16, 1942 in Brenham to William Joseph Sr. and Linda Minnie Faltus Fairman. He was baptized September 27, 1942, and confirmed March 25, 1956 by Pastor Elmo Miertschin. On January 27, 1962, he married Anita Prater in Houston.

Robert was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was Coordinator of Production for the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M, from which he had retired.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Fairman of Brenham; sons and daughters-in-law Don Wesley (Christina) Fairman of Round Top, and Wayne Eugene (Stephanie) Fairman of Brenham; daughter and son-in-law Yvonne Ranae (Timothy) Zezula of Hockley; brother and sister-in-law William Joseph Jr. (Eleanor) Fairman of Washington; sister and brother-in-law Linda (Milton) Ihlo of Austin; grandchildren: Amanda Fairman Wessels, Ethan Kyle Zezula, Emily Ann Fairman, Alisen Marie Fairman, and Sarah Grace Fairman. Also surviving is one great-granddaughter, Kora Wessels.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Serving as pallbearers are Ethan Zezula, Matthew Wessels, Charles Allcorn, Chris Wilhelm, Mark Herber, and Roy Hohlt.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church School, or Hospice Brazos Valley.
