Robert Frazier, 82, of Brenham, Texas, formerly of Stanton, Kentucky, died Sept. 12, 2004, in Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village in Brenham. Mr. Frazier was born July 15, 1922, to Guy and Ethel Stephens Frazier in Stanton, Kentucky. He served in the Army three years during World War II, with 30 months of that time in the South Pacific. On Sept. 8, 1957, he married Lelah Helen McNabb in Mt. Sterling Christian Church in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Mr. Frazier was retired from General Motors of Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Brenham, where he served in various capacities. Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Helen McNabb Frazier of Brenham; one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Kay Frazier of Spring, Texas; two sisters, Naomi Lackey of Brookville, Indiana and Bertha Hurst of Stanton, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Mattie Frazier of Centerville, Ohio and Mary Helen Frazier of North Middleton, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing will be held from noon Tuesday, Sept. 14 until 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, Texas and from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15 in Calvary Baptist Church in Brenham, Texas. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept.15 in Calvary Baptist Church in Brenham with Rev. Larry Embry and Rev. Bob Craig officiating. Viewing will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 in Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 in Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals in Mt. Sterling. Burial will be in Stanton Cemetery in Stanton, Kentucky. Memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 975, Brenham, Texas 77834 or the Alzheimer s Association.
