Robert Hall

Robert R. Hall, Jr., 55, of Brenham, died June 20, 2007, at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Hall was born August 28, 1951, in Brownsville, TX, to Robert R. Hall Sr., and Rose Marilyn Hinkley Hall. His family moved to Houston in 1952 and he was a resident of the Brenham State School for 33 years. Survivors include his father, Robert R. Hall, Sr. of Houston, his twin sisters, Rebecca Ann Hall and Bonnie Sue Hall, both of Houston, and his nephew, Dagon James, who lives in New York City. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marilyn in 1992. Robert enjoyed his job at Sealy Mattress Company where he worked for 5 years, retiring in 2005. He had a zest for laughter and life that was truly contagious and he brought joy to the lives of everyone he touched. He shared his passion for music, nature, sunshine, and the outdoors with everyone he met. He truly loved everyone, but especially his family and extended family at the Brenham State School. Robert s true innocence, honesty, and courage made him lovable to all. Robert showed us all how to love in his own special way, and he will truly be missed. His spirit shined brightly, and will live forever within all of those that were fortunate enough to have known him. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14 at the Lillian A. Wilder Memorial Chapel at Brenham State School with Chaplain Jim Ferguson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Brenham State School Volunteer Council or to the Lowe Syndrome Association. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., Brenham.
