Robert Mills

Robert Bobby Franklin Mills, Jr., 62, of Washington, died March 31, 2007, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Mr. Mills was born Oct. 21, 1944, in Midland, Texas, to Robert Franklin Sr. and Maxine Kuykendall Mills. On Jan. 18, 1980, he was married to Oma Elizabeth Twiggs in Brenham. Bobby was employed as a security guard at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brenham, the Masonic Graham Lodge #20 A.F.&A.M. and the Shriners. Survivors include his wife, Oma Mills of Washington; his mother, Maxine Lewis and husband Earl of Lake Whitney; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Wanda Mills of Waller; daughter, Jenny Mills of New Caney; two grandchildren, Abbie and Christopher; two great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Pam and Ken Hill and Patricia Sissy Mills, all of Brenham; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Keith and Elizabeth Twiggs of Brenham; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna and Robert Mann and Dollie and Richard Waters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin Mills, Sr. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 4 at First Baptist Church in Brenham with Rev. Steve Ponder officiating. A Masonic graveside service under the auspices of Graham Lodge # 20 A.F.&A.M. will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Memorials may be given to the Shriners Burn Center in Galveston.
