Robert Peterson

Robert Wayne Peterson, 79, died October 9, 2018 in Houston.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13 in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Jane Whitney will officiate.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Houston.

Robert Wayne Peterson was born June 19, 1939 in Brenham to Robert Shelby and Lucille Blackburn Peterson. He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston. On July 28, 1978 he married Carole E. Peterson.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Peterson of Houston; sons Charles Robert Peterson of Austin; David Shelby Peterson and wife Meghan of Houston; grandchildren: Sloane Peterson, Robert Flynn Peterson, and Elissa Peterson. Other surviving relatives are Shelby Boehm and Adam Boehm.

Mr. Peterson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lucille Peterson; sister, Mary Ann Boehm, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, or The Alzheimer’s Association.
