Robert Steele

Robert R. Steele, 89, of Brenham, the husband of Elizabeth (Grissom) Steele, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Bryan.

Mr. Steele was a member of Brenham Presbyterian Church in Brenham, where he served as an elder.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Steele of Brenham; sons, Robert Steele, Jr. and wife Sandy, and Gris Steele and wife Lark, all of Houston; grandchildren: John Steele, Michael Steele, and David Steele; and his sister, Martha Ruth Ratcliff of Eldon, MO.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 at Brenham Presbyterian Church, with Rev. W. Brent Hampton officiating. A brief graveside service will be held prior at 10 a.m for anyone who would like to attend at Oak Rest Cemetery on Mayfair Lane in Brenham.

Memorials may be directed to Brenham Presbyterian Church or the charity ofyour choice.
