Robert Edwin Walters, 74, passed away October 29, 2016 in Brenham, Texas, where he resided.
Mr. Walters was born May 11, 1942 in Georgetown, Kentucky to Richard and Margaret (Sharp) Walters. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force, and was retired from the insurance business.
A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he served his community in various charitable organizations.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Walters of Independence, KS; daughter, Ann Walters of N. Las Vegas, NV; stepdaughter Rae Lin Ladd and husband Jesse of Brenham; step-son Ryon Knop; grandchildren: Nathan Walters, Travis Hendry, Garrett Larson, Jayden Ladd, and Robert Walters; great-grandchildren: Sky Walters; sisters Sandra Vires and husband Bob of New Lebanon, Ohio; Sheila Murphy and husband John of Georgetown, KY, and Karen Walters. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Celest Walters; grandson, Lance Walters; and second wife, Linda Walters.

A private Memorial Service is scheduled for a later date.
