Ronald Jeremiah

Ronald Clint Jeremiah, 67, of Bay City, TX, died Feb. 24, 2004, at his residence . Mr. Jeremiah was born Jan. 14, 1937, in Short, OK, to Ted and Mabel Rosson Jeremiah. On Feb. 15, 1957, he was married to Elaine E. Palmer in Olivehurst, CA. He served in the U.S. Army 22 years and retired as an intelligence specialist. He was also a retired carpenter. Mr. Jeremiah was a member of the VFW in Bay City and was a beloved grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Elaine E. Jeremiah of Bay City; sons, Mark Jeremiah of Bay City and Robert Jeremiah of Olivehurst, CA; daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda Pourner of Dangerfield, Donna and Al Gomez of Brenham and Teresa and Doyle Spradlen of Bay City; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and June Jeremiah of Olivehurst, CA; sisters, Roberta Osgood Yuba City, CA and Joyce Jeremiah of Live Oak, CA; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bruce and Bobby; and granddaughter, Whisper Spradlen. A private memorial service will be held for the family only at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice Support Care, 1102 N. Mechanic, El Campo, TX 77437. Service arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham, TX.
