Ronnie Lynn Bozarth, 75, of Burton passed away January 2, 2022. Ronnie was born on December 22, 1946 to Robert “Bob” and Dixie (Dean) Bozarth in Oklahoma. On March 17,1984 he was married to Carrie Lynn Thomason. They were later then blessed with a son and daughter, Cody and Abby.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday January 7, 2022 at St. John’s UCC Cemetery, with Pastor Darin Holub officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, Brenham, Texas.
Ronnie was a beloved member of his community. Above all he was a proud father of his two children and always rejoiced in their accomplishments. He was involved in numerous organizations such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble committee. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger days. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Dixie Bozarth, wife, Carrie Bozarth, brothers-in-law, Buddy Garner, Virden Turner, Bob Ford and Daniel Boone.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Cody and Sara Bozarth of Richmond; daughter Abby Bozarth and Scott Waller of Navasota; sisters, Joy Boone of Houston, Gaylene Turner of Oklahoma, and Brenda Ford of Wyoming, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo DA’s.
At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice Brazos Valley.
Funeral arrangements for Ronnie Bozarth are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham, TX.
