Rosa Kokemoor

Rosa Lee Brauner Kokemoor, 89, of Brenham, widow of Arthur Kokemoor, died March 30, 2013 at Brenham Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, with Pastor David Hansen officiating burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosa Lee was born Sept 29, 1923 in the Hoddeville Community in Washing Co. TX. Her parents were Robert and Emma Renz Brauner. She was baptized on November 25, 1923 in Zion Evang. Lutheran Church in Zionsville by Pastor Karl Mueller. Rosa Lee was confirmed on March 21, 1937 in Zion Evang. Lutheran Church in Zionsville by Pastor Karl Mueller. She went to Hoddeville School through the 7th grade. On Oct. 29, 1952, Rosa Lee was married to Arthur Kokemoor in Zion Lutheran Church by Pastor Richard J. Weber. Arthur preceded her death on Aug 19, 1997. Rosa was a member at St. John''s Lutheran Church at Prairie Hill, Texas. Survivors include; brother Lonnie Brauner, Sr. and sisters-in-law; Gladys Brauner and Irene Bockhorn, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers are; David Bockhorn, Don Bockhorn, Ken Bockhorn, Larry Kokemoor, Lonnie Brauner, Jr. and Marvin Schuermann.
