Rosa Lampe Schoenemann, 91, of Brenham died Nov. 22, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mrs. Schoenemann was born Sept. 17, 1915, in William Penn community of Washington County, TX, to Charlie and Emma Engel Lampe. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn and attended Washington County schools. On June 9, 1938, she was married to Herbert Schoenemann at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Mrs. Schoenemann was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Survivors include her son, August James Schoenemann of Brenham; two daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Fred Schwartz, Jr. and Betty and Glenn Brenner, all of Brenham; four grandchildren, Greg Brenner and wife Erin, Lisa Steck and husband Danny, Jeff Schwartz and wife Sharon and Amy Jeter and husband Jeff; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Morgan Steck, Madison, Claire and Lily Brenner, Hanna Rose and Logan Schwartz; one brother, August Lampe of Brenham; and two sisters, Mary Pahmiyer and husband August and Emma Bell Neumann, all of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Schoenemann, on July 29, 1989. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn with Pastor Eldor J. Harmann officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald W. Lampe, Donald Lee Lampe, Larry Neumann, Clinton Broecker, Clarence Gerke and Waldo Holle. Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of William Penn. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
