Royce Arthur Marburger, 73, of Washington County, Texas, passed into eternal life peacefully January 20, 2024, with family present, after complications from diabetes. He was born December 23, 1950, in Weimar, Texas, to Arthur and Adele Marburger.
Royce graduated from Brenham High School in 1969, and served in Vietnam 1971-72. He was well-known as an intelligent hard worker and worked at several local businesses in addition to raising cattle.
Royce especially loved the outdoors, wildlife and birds, and hunting. He was also an excellent mechanic on all kinds of vehicles and equipment, even a bulldozer.
He was preceded in death by his brother Earl and his parents. Royce is survived by his sisters Natalie (and husband Walter) Daugherity, Barbara (and husband Kenney) Huebner, and Sheila Marburger; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members.

The graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Carmine Cemetery, 220 Carmine Cemetery Road, Carmine, TX 78932.
