It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son Russell Neil Cobb who died suddenly on November 16, 2024. He was born June 19, 1967, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Walter Neil Cobb and Wanda Russell Cobb. He moved with his family to Houston in 1971. He attended and graduated from Cy-Fair High School. Russell was employed by Kruse Village as their Maintenance Manager.
Russell played baseball, football and basketball when he was was growing up. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting especially with his Dad. He was great on the grill. He loved to cook outside. He volunteered on a cooking team at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo cookoff for many years.
Russell was very good with his hands and mechanically inclined. He could fix just about anything. He had a huge heart and he loved his family and friends. His witty humor and sarcasm will be missed.
He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in November 1990.
Russell was predeceased by his grandparents Walter and Irene Cobb and Earl and Frances Russell.
Russell is survived by his daughter Jennifer Lindsay Cobb Hoeppner (Jordan) and sons Joseph Russell Cobb and Tyler Jordan Cobb and three grandchildren, Joselyn Lee Hoeppner, Joshua Liam Hoeppner and Miles Joseph Cobb.
He is also survived by his father, Walter Neil Cobb (Susie) and his mother Wanda Russell Cobb. His sister, Kelly Renee Cobb Glowacky (Larry), and nephews Chase Lawrence Glowacky (Kristin) and Blake Andrew Glowacky (Chelsea) also survive him. His great niece, Vareina Rose Glowacky, also survives him. Three step-siblings also survive him. Eddie Donithan, K K Walters (Devin) and Brandi Lara. Two aunts and an uncle along with numerous cousins also survive him.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Darrin Holub, will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
