Russell Rudasill

Russell Walker Rudasill, 45, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Chappell Hill, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel prior to the Memorial Service.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Russell was born in Bryan, Texas on July 10, 1974 to Hugh and Pamela (Allen) Rudasill. He married the love of his life, Amie Gaskamp, on August 16, 2008 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brenham, Texas.

Russell was a very great machinist and enjoyed his job. He really enjoyed fishing, and relaxing on his back porch. He also enjoyed watching the Texans and Astros play and he never met a stranger on this earth. He loved his children and his wife more than anything in the world. He was truly a wonderful person who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his mother, Pamela (Allen) Rudasill; wife, Amie (Gaskamp) Rudasill; daughters, Chesley Michelle Rudasill of Pearland, Texas, and Audrie Gene Rudasill of Chappell Hill, Texas; and sister-in-law Emilie Gaskamp; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Alaina Gaskamp of Somerville, Texas and Jon and Taylor Gaskamp of Tyler, Texas; grandchild, Nina Marie Rudasill; and other relatives, Rebecca Porter and Asa, Dana Vackar Strang, Fredrick Asa Porter, Julie Vackar, and Allen Wayne and Julie Gaskamp.

Russell was preceded in death by his grandmother, Falvey Jean Allen “Gee”.

Honorary Pallbearers include Truett Allen, Kris Guillot, Will Grote, Brandon Rankin, Kenneth Law, Jon Gaskamp, and Edwin Cuevas.

Memorials may be directed to Lions Eye Bank of Texas.
