Ruth Neinast, 77, of Burton, died December 17, 2004, at her residence. Mrs. Neinast was born September 6, 1927, in Lumberton, Mississippi, to Lonnie and Nora Miller Killebrew. She was educated in Lamar County, Mississippi and Douglas, Alabama. On July 19, 1959, she was married to Clarence E. Neinast in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rehburg. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, John and Judy Engle of Jackson, Mississippi; sisters and brother-in-law, Annette and Anthony Knue of Lumberton, Mississippi and Willene Overstreet of Van Cleve, Mississippi; sisters-in-law, Elois Glover of Long Point and LeVerda Ebel of Long Point; nephew and niece, Jimmy and Peggy Glover; great-nephew and great-niece, Michael and Melissa Glover; special friends, Terry and Mat Gutierrez and Steve and Kelly Bilski; numerous nieces and nephews in Mississippi and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Neinast; and brother, Wallace Killebrew. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20 in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rehburg with Pastor Larry Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rehburg. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Steven Neinast, Jimmy Glover, Michael Glover, Kenneth Ladewig, Henry Louis Neinast and Jay Jones. Memorials may be given to Hospice Brenham, 705 S. Austin, Brenham, TX 77833 or to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
