Ruth Stovall

Ruth Ann Stovall, 85, the widow of Wallace Stovall, passed away June 8, 2013 in Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. Funeral services will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 with Rev. Villard Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday. Ruth Stovall was born on February 7, 1928 to Joseph A. and Doris Durtch Pylman. She attended area schools. Ruth was a member of Richey Street Baptist Church of Pasadena and a member of Cornerstone Seniors Club. Survivors include: daughters, Lois Welch of Brenham, Susan Bates and husband Kenny of Pasadena and Debra Eberhard and husband Ted of Clare, Michigan; brother, Jim Pylman of Evart, Michigan; sister, Nancy Caygill of Rewe, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Adam, Brian, and Sarah Welch, Kenny Bates Jr., Scott Albertson and Timothy Eberhard; and one great-grandchild, Gillian Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Richard Pylman and her husband Wallace Stovall.
