Sean Dechant

Sean Timothy DeChant, 29, husband of Jennifer Ann Wright DeChant, died June 7, 2014 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 13 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Sean DeChant was born April 19, 1985 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois to Terrence James and Margaret Mary Barry DeChant. On Nov. 12, 2005, he was married to Jennifer Wright in Brenham. Sean was employed as a plumber. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer DeChant; daughters, Jenna Ann and Jada Ann DeChant, all of Brenham; his mother, Margaret M. DeChant of Chicago, IL; brothers Ryan DeChant of Schaumburg, IL, John Schneck of Bartlett, IL, Michael Schneck of Rockford, IL, William Schneck and wife Carrie of Paradise, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Mitch Wegner of Hanover Park, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cecil and Lee Ann Williams Wright, his grandmother-in-law, Cecilia V. Wright; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeremy Wright of Brenham, Jason and Consuelo Gibbs of Hannover Park, IL, Daniel and Roxanne Gibbs and Ray Gibbs, all of Brenham. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sean was preceded in death by his father, Terrence DeChant. Serving as pallbearers are Mitch Wegner, John Schneck, Michael Schneck, William Schneck, Ryan DeChant, Jeremy Wright, and John Wright.
