Sharon Gross

Sharon Marie Gross, 49, of Brenham died December 25, 2006 at her residence. She was born December 31, 1956 in Chula Vista, California to Leslie Ward & Elaine Elizabeth Parr Butts. Sharon was baptized at the Church of Christ in La Grange. On December 17, 1976 she married James David Gross at the Church of Christ in Stafford. They were married for 26 years. Sharon was a graduate of Charles & Sue s School of Cosmetology and she was a hairdresser for 27 years. Sharon was a member the Church of Christ in La Grange, Washington County lamb Committee for several years. Her hobbies included photography and floral arranging. Survivors include her daughters & sons in law, Rachel Lauren & Nathan Lee Rodgers of Bellville, Shannon Elaine & Jerry Clay Stripling of Galveston, sisters & brothers-in-law, Joyce Ann & Donnie Broesche, Barbara Lynn & Rocky Rodgers, two grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Gross and Tanner David Gross, former husband for 26 years, James David Gross, sons, John Eldon Gross, Bradley David Gross, cousins, Sue Ellen Stevens, Terry Martin and special friend, Roger Caldwell. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Ward & Elaine Elizabeth Butts. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Mr. Will Hanstein officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Burton. Pallbearers include John Eldon Gross, Bradley David Gross, Ronald Wayne Broesche, Kenneth Allen Broesche, Patrick Dale Broesche, Michael Meyer Martin. Honorary pallbearers include James David Gross, Roger Lynn Caldwell and Bob Cook. Memorials may be given to Hospice Brazos Valley Brenham.
