Shirley Ann Moehlmann, 83, of Brenham and wife of Clarence Moehlmann passed away Saturday May 22, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley Ann Riley was born April 22, 1938 in Navasota, Tx, to Ruby and Mack Riley. She was the second oldest of nine children.

She married Clarence Ray Moehlmann on July 30, 1955.

Clarence and Shirley had two children, daughter Becky Lynn and son Dennis.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clarence; her son, Dennis; grandchildren, Josh (Krystal); Craig (Tiana); Kory; and Riley. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; her sister, Sandra; daughter-in-law Brandy; “adopted” daughter Jennifer Welsh, and numerous other relatives.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Becky Lynn; five brothers; and several other relatives.

Visitation will be 5 pm to 7 pm May 25 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on May 26 at St. John Lutheran Church, Prairie Hill. The Rev. Greg Gaskamp will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons  Joshua Goldsmith, Craig Moehlmann and Riley Moehlmann; nephews Robbie Moehlmann and Jeren Riley, and friend Robert Fairlie. Honorary pallbearer will be Kory Moehlmann, Kallen Moehlmann, Marley Ann Moehlmann and Corsen Ray Moehlmann.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be given to Kruse Village Activities or St. Johns Lutheran Church at Prairie Hill.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
