Stephanie Mckinster

Stephanie H. Gutowski Mc Kinster, 89, died in Webster on Friday, September 30, 2011. Born in Chappell Hill, Texas on May 21, 1922, Stephanie was the daughter of Joe & Rosie Kendzoria Gutowski. She was baptized in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill in 1933 and attended school in Chappell Hill. As an adult, Stephanie lived in Houston where she worked as a book binder. When she retired, she moved back to Washington County and lived in Brenham. Stephanie was an independent woman who enjoyed dressing nice, going on outings, as well as keeping St. Mary''s Catholic church neat and clean. Stephanie is survived by her sister, Mary Hueske of Kingwood, by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Clara Gutowski and her brothers: Johnnie Gutowski, Edmund Gutowski and Alex Gutowski. Visitation with the family present will be in Memorial Oaks Chapel on Tuesday evening, October 4 beginning at 7. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday morning in St. Mary''s Catholic church at 10:00 a.m.. The funeral Mass will be offered in St. Mary''s at 10:30 a.m. by Msgr. Benedict Zientek. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chappell Hill. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Gutowski, Urban Gutowski, Phil Gutowski, Charles Gutowski, Alex Gutowski, Jr. and Nathan Gutowski.
