Steven Paul Przyborski, 85 of Caldwell, TX, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Steve was born on December 26, 1935 to Joseph and Victoria Pribilski Przyborski in Washington County. He was the youngest of seven children.
Steve was baptized on December 28, 1935 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, TX by Rev. Charles Weisnerowski.
Steve married the love of his life, Elizabeth Vasicek on April 27, 1957. They were happily married for 63 years. They initially started their life together in Houston and upon retiring they moved to Caldwell. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Caldwell.
Steve was a proud member of the United States Army for 2 years and in the United States Army Reserve for 1 year. During his time in the army he was stationed in Germany.
Steve’s work career consisted of being a supervisor at American Porcelain Enameling, Inc. in Houston, an estimator for Danny Zoch in Pasadena and then an estimator for Kenjura Tile, Inc. in Brenham.
Steve will be greatly missed. He had the kindest heart and was an amazing son, husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching all sports but especially loved an Astros Baseball Game or a Tennis match played by Roger Federer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and their spouses: Bennie & Rosalie, Mike & Barbara, sisters and their spouses: Julia Zientek Means & Cecil, Pearlie & Ted Kenjura, Barbara Mazen Gardner & John, Gertrude Nowak, Edmond Nowak, his father in law George Vasicek, mother in law Cecelia Vasicek, brother in law and sister in laws, Albin Vasicek, Cliff & Irene Schneider, Carroll & Anita Steely, Glenn & Dorothy Moye, Don Gibson, and Billy Vasicek, niece Shirley Crowder, great nephews Austin Bradley Schneider and David Vasicek.
Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife: Elizabeth Przyborski, brother in law and sister in laws, John & Julie Kenjura, Emil & Cecilia Vasicek, Daniel & Jennifer Vasicek, Neely Vasicek and Georgia Gibson, and many, nieces, nephews great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces, great-great nephews, relatives, and friends.
Pallbearers are John Kenjura, Ted Zientek, Carter Williams, Cole Kenjura, Ed Nowak, Dennis Kunetka, Tommy Joe Przyborski, Barry Demal and Brigido Pimental.
Honorary pallbearers are Bob & Chase Sandlin, Chris Mueller, Austin Grimm, Noah & Piper O’Brien and Melvin Ressmann.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 7am-8pm with the family present from 5-7 pm with a rosary recited at 7. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 701 Church Street, Brenham, TX 77833 on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Brenham.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org or the W.C.H.L.A. (Margaret E. Blizzard Senior Activity) at 1301 E. Tom Green, Brenham, TX 77833 or a charity of your choice.
