Suann Goeth Stone, 56, of Brenham, died September 11, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, with Pastor Mike Button officiating. Interment will take place in the Sayers Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Suann was born October 24, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to Arthur Conrad and Adele Spivey Goeth. She was baptized September 7, 1958 in Immanuel Lutheran Church in LaVernia, Texas and confirmed June 2, 1968 in Christ Lutheran Church in Brenham. She attended Brenham High School until she moved to San Angelo where she graduated from San Angelo Central High School in1972. Suann was employed as a lot attendant by HEB. A member of Christ Lutheran Church of Brenham, Suann enjoyed reading the Bible and sharing Bible verses with her family. She loved supporting her children, and enjoyed being around her dogs. Interested in sports, she played tennis and basketball, spent time as a lifeguard, and was an avid Brenham Cub baseball fan. Her selfless personality and giving nature endeared her to her family and friends. Surviving are her sons, Jason Stone of Brenham, and Joshua Stone and wife Amber of Midway; daughter Jennifer Eckenrode and husband Jason of Leroy; father, Arthur Conrad Goeth; grandchildren: Josie, Dylan, Jacob and Jasmine; brother, Arthur Conrad Goeth, Jr. and wife Terri; sisters Cynthia and husband Ray Robinson, Melanie Goeth, and Susan Scott and husband Doug of Westminster, CO. Preceding Suann in death was a brother, Randall Troy Goeth and her mother, Adele Spivey Goeth. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Stone, Joshua Stone, Matthew Kenjura, Charles Tiemann, Ryan Goeth, Troy Goeth, Michael Young, Nicholas Young, Aaron Goeth, Conrad Goeth, Ray Robinson and Doug Scott. Memorial contributions should be directed to Christ Lutheran Church, Hospice Brazos Valley, or to a charity of your choosing.
