Susan Howe

Susan Jane Howe, 59, passed away February 3, 2012 in the College Station Medical Center. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Chappell Hill, with Pastor David Beckworth officiating. Susan Howe was born May 4, 1953 in Waterbury, Conn. to Arthur and Clara Schiller Carreiro. She was retired after serving as a supervisor at Southbury Training School in Connecticut. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Adam Carreiro, Sr. and wife Angela of Chappell Hill; daughter Erin Howe and son-in-law Shain Hurt of Magnolia, MS; grandchildren Adam "AJ" Carreiro, Jr. and Alyssa Carreiro; brother Robert Carreiro of Houston; sisters Anita Carreiro and fiancé Mike Hines of Naugatuck, CT., Casey Keller and husband Keith of Caymon Island, and Elinor Marshall and partner Pat Thompson of Seabrook. Other surviving relatives are nephews Jason Carreiro, Charles Bowley, and Matthew Bowley. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Arthur Carreiro, a niece, Kynara Carreiro, and grandson, Azariah Carreiro.
