Tanner Schwartz

May 4, 1998 — March 20, 2017

Tanner Lee Schwartz known by his friends and family as “Lupe” died unexpectedly on March 20, 2017 at the age of 18. He was born on May 4, 1998 to Mark and Shannon Schwartz. During his youth he enjoyed raising and showing cattle. Tanner was also an avid hunter known for spending time in the deer stand and chasing hogs with his buddies. If there was a pitch game going on, you were sure to see Lupe at it with a couple side bets. He attended Brenham High School where he participated in FFA and graduated in June of 2016. Since graduation Tanner joined the family business with his dad working at Triple S Ranch and Cattleman’s Brenham Livestock Auction. Each day he loved saddling up “JW” and working cattle alongside his family and friends. Tanner had a heart of gold and always managed to become the life of the party while looking for his next adventure. He was able to see each day as a new opportunity and lived each moment to the fullest determined to leave his mark wherever he went.

Tanner is survived by his parents, sister Addie, grandparents Frank and Lucille Rybarski, and Leon and Florence Schwartz, aunts and uncles Johnnie and Debbie Eckert, Scottie and Toni Schwartz and Dean Rybarski, Cousins Carter and Clayton Schwartz, Kyler, Kelsey and Riley Crenshaw, Trevor, Jill and Gunnar Eckert, Michael, Marian, Chet and Hudson Eckert and Taylor and Kelsey Rybarski along with numerous family and friends.
