Terry Druschke

Terry Druschke, 86, passed away November 3, 2023 in Brenham.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at noon.

Terry Druschke was born February 27, 1937 in Houston to Leonard and Helen Cheatham Druschke. He was baptized on August 11, 1940 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Houston, and confirmed October 4, 1953 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Houston.

A graduate of Reagan High School in Houston, Terry served 8 ½ years in the Texas National Guard in the 49th Armored Division and the 36th Infantry Division. On June 27 1961, he married Joy Parish in Pasadena. He was employed as an office machine technician from 1960 until 1999, repairing adding machines, calculators, cash registers, bank equipment, computers, copiers and fax machines, and retired in 1999.

Terry's hobbies included hunting, fishing and camping. He also treasured time spent with his family. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of New Wehdem.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Jimmy Druschke and his wife, Joy Druschke.

Serving as pallbearers are Ralph Tiemann, Russell Kohring, Pat Mabry, Knellen Quinteros, Lawrence Bade and Marc Dierking.
