Thelma Nelson

Thelma Ruth Clark Nelson, born January 10, 1920, passed away in Brenham, Texas on November 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Oscar Cutler Nelson, Mother, Edna Clark, and Sister, Doris Clark. Thelma is survived by children; Beverly Morris and husband Ray of Chappell Hill, Texas; Son, Ronnie Nelson of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; Daughter, Susan Clarke and husband Alan of Nacogdoches, Texas; Granddaughter Tracey Hughes and husband Larry of Chappell Hill, Texas; Great Grandchildren Brady and Mallory Hughes. She also leaves a large extended family including her brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and many others. Thelma married Cutler Nelson on November 17, 1941, in Crosby, Texas where they lived until their retirement to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. After her husband s death, Thelma moved to Brenham, Texas, where she spent her remaining years. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Evergreen Cemetery, 13702 Sralla Road in Crosby Texas. There is no visitation planned.
