Theresa Jaeger

Theresa Ruth Jaeger, 70, wife of Melvern Jaeger, died August 13, 2009 in Porter, Texas. Born March 20, 1939 in Gueydan, La., to Rita Chavin Johnson, she married Melvern Jaeger on June 2, 1957. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Melvern Jaeger of Houston; daughters Rita and husband Wayne Bierman, Carolyn Jaeger-Ivey of New Mexico, and Sandra Jaeger, of Porter; son Michael Jaeger and wife Dawn of Porter; grandchildren: Angel, Alex and Chris Bierman; Matthew Jacob, Rebecca, Meagan and Makayla Jaeger; sister Mary and father, Marshall Johnson. She was preceded in death by her mother a sister, and a son-in-law, Alberto Ivey. Funeral services for Theresa Ruth Jaeger will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2009 at Emmanual Lutheran Church of Greenvine with Pastor Peter Lopez officiating. Interment will be in the Jaeger-Witte Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
