Thomas Simpson

Thomas Daniel Simpson, 56, of Brenham, died July 13, 2004, at his residence.
Mr. Simpson was born Nov. 13, 1947, in Houston, to Thomas Durwood and Ruth Calvert Simpson. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Harlingen.
On April 20, 2000, he married Connie Gordon in Brenham.
He was a sales manager at Auto Zone in Brenham.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Simpson; mother, Ruth Simpson of Pasadena; sons, Scott Simpson and Danny Simpson, both of Dallas and Matt Rosner of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Mike Torres of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Cindi Simpson of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Darla and Milton Oakes of Pasadena; mother-in-law, Sue Gordon; 3 grandchildren, Colton, Karter and McKinzey; and 5 loving pets.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17 at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 16 in Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff and friends of Bridgestone/Firestone at the Galleria in Houston and Auto Zone in Brenham.
