Thomas “Tommy” Chovanec, 58, of Brenham, TX, went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2020.

Tommy had a heart as big as Texas. He treasured his children, Jenny and Matt, always evident that there was not anything he would not do for them. Tommy and Matt spent countless hours together hunting, fishing, making memories that will be forever cherished. He was always ready to go. He loved his family, always giving the best hugs, putting them first before himself. He was so proud of his grandchildren. Boasting of their skill of hunting and fishing, telling anyone who would listen of their accomplishments. He was the best daddy and popo a kid could ask for, taking Bradley and Chasidy hunting and fishing anytime they asked. He loved helping them with their animals and teaching them all about fishing and hunting.
Tommy was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was employed at Longwood for thirty-nine years. He made every person he met feel special, valued, and loved. He touched many lives and will be missed dearly.
