Thyra Case

Thyra Dale Case, 80, widow of Lester L. Case, died December 20, 2010 in Brenham. Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Somerville. Thyra Case was born in Houston on November 23, 1930 to William Henry and Ruth Smith, and was baptized in Cedar Creek Lake. On August 18, 1950, she married Lester L. Case in Houston. She completed high school as well as studies to become a LVN, and was employed in this capacity over the years for various hospitals and nursing homes. She is survived by her children: Henry and Doris Case, Paula Kepley, and Dale Case; grandchildren: Chris and Tina Jenkins, Johnny and Heather Kepley, James and Claire Kepley, Clint and Racheal Lampe, Angie and Jason Lucas, and Neal and Dayna Lampe; great-grandchildren: Zack Stanton, Paula Jenkins, Christina Jenkins, Cannen Kepley, Caden Kepley, Kendra Kepley, Triston Kepley, Taylor Sloan, Kylie Lucas, Ryder Lampe, Remmy Lampe, Loen Lampe, and sister and brother-in-law Phil and Billie Ruth Davison. Serving as pallbearers are Jack Staton, Paula Kepley, Chris Jenkins, Tina Jenkins, James Kepley, Clare Kepley, Jason Lucas, and Angie Lucas. Honorary pallbearers are Clint Lampe and Neal Lampe.
