Thomas "Tom" Kaminczak, born on December 18, 1939, in Chappell Hill, Texas, to Steve and Cecilia Vezorak Kaminczak, passed away on Saturday, November 9th. A beloved husband, father, and businessman, Tom's life was marked by unwavering dedication to his family, service, and community.
After graduating from Brenham High School in 1958, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Army, honorably serving for three and a half years in Germany before being discharged in 1962 as an SP4. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a master plumber and proudly operated Budget Plumbing for 40 years, leaving a lasting impression on the communities of Houston and surrounding areas with his expertise and commitment.
Upon retiring to Brenham, Tom cherished spending time outdoors, riding his tractor or barbecuing in the backyard. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Mavis. Tom is survived by his son Steve; daughters Kathy, Sandra, and Annette; and grandson Garrett, along with a host of extended family and friends who will carry on his legacy.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Chappell Hill, Texas, with Fr. Thaddeus Tabak officiating
