Tommy Chambers

Tommy was born Sept. 8, 1937. He lost his trying battle with cancer in peace at this home on October 29, 2011. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith and was a God-fearing man who loved and believed in his Savior Jesus Christ. For those who are Catholic, would you kindly say a Rosary for Tommy''s soul during quiet moments of remembrance. He had many friends and could converse with people from all walks of life. He very much enjoyed baseball and football, yardwork, coin collecting, fishing, playing cards and his part-time job at Lakeside Store, He didn''t like giving up. He leaves to follow him his wife, Margie, his sons Lance, Roger and Brian, whom he loved with all his heart, and his prized possessions here on earth; his two granddaughters Kinsey and Kendall; also a sister, Virginia Head, daughters-in-law, Amanda and Lee Ann, and sisters-in-law Tommylu and Anita; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marcy and Henry Hendrickson and brother-in-law, Arbie Wassermann, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Aimee Chambers; brothers John Darwin and Hollis Blane; brothers-in-law Richard Head, father-in-law and mother-in-law Emil "Doc" and Wanda Wassermann; brother-in-law, Kenneth Wassermann, and sister-in-law, Loretta Wassermann. He would be honored to see all of you here today. Serving as Guards will be Arbie Wassermann, Henry Hendrickson, Allan Moses, David Majewski, Kevin Voss, Sabu Joseph, Ralph Hebert, and Charlie Lange. Honorary Guards will be Francis Majewski, John Head, Dan Stavana, Randy Smith, Bill Starnes, Danny and Nicki Bilski, Ed Sisk, Bob and Regina Burnett, Rickey Vercher, Jeramie Vinklarek, Charlie and Angie Schubert, Joann Hebert, Sibi Joseph and Tenson Thomas. Memorials be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley, the Shriners Burn Institute, or to a charity of your choice.
