Vernon Brumwell

Vernon L. Brumwell was born in Iowa in 1929. He is preceded in death by his father Ed, mother Caroline, and brothers Vearl, and Norman. He has three surviving siblings: Harlan, Imogine, and Dorothy. Vern was married to his wife, Erlinda in 1987, and they moved to Texas in 1992.

Vern has 7 children: Elaine (Clarence Jr), Wayne (Katherine), John (Michele), Susan (Russ), James (Rita), Cheri, and Fred (Taci); as well as 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Vern was a member of Greenvine Baptist Church and dearly loved Pastor Jack Faulkner and the people there.

Vern will be missed but is now in the presence of Jesus. John 11:25

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2020 at Greenvine Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
