Veryl Neumann

June 30, 1957 — May 26, 2024

Veryl Neumann passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 holding his beloved wife's hand. Veryl was born on June 30, 1957 in Houston, Texas to the late Allen and Vernice Neumann.

Veryl was a husband, father, son, brother, cousin, friend and "PAPA" to many.

He was baptized on December 8, 1957 and confirmed on April 4, 1971 in the Lutheran Faith at Zion Lutheran Church. Veryl was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he was a part of the Zion Lutheran Youth Group.

He graduated from Brenham High School in 1975.

He married Deynene on October 10, 2020 and loved his entire family.

He was a part of the Washington County Fair Colt Committee, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and was the first original member of Washington Co. Relay Team.

He enjoyed dancing, farming, ranching, showing and fitting cattle.

Above all, what Veryl loved to do was being behind the wheel of a Big Truck. Veryl loved hauling cattle with all his trucking buddies and especially with his son Chadd.

No matter what, Veryl was always putting his family first.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Allen and Vernice Neumann) and brother (Jay "Bird" Neumann) as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He is survived by his wife (Deynene Neumann), children Chadd Neumann (Kaci), Lynae Neumann and Nickolas Neumann, sisters and brothers-in-law Cindy (Donnie) Lyles and Barbara (Chris) Gremmel.

Bonus children Garrison Roberts (Amanda), Dalton Roberts (Abby) and Haydon Roberts.

Grandchildren are Nathan Simons, Chase Neumann, Kailyn Neumann, Braygen Calvin, Brodie Jones, Cash Roberts, Clara Roberts, Cullen Roberts, Dax Roberts and Alonzo Roberts.

Veryl will be dearly missed and will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. His loving heart, giving and compassionate spirit and all wonderful memories will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Chapel, Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 7:00am to 7:00pm with family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral service will be at Zion Lutheran Church at 10:00am on Friday, May 31, 2024 with a light lunch immediately following the service at the church and burial at 1:00pm at Shelby Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Overmann, Ross Tillman, Chris Gremmel, Donnie Lyles, Big Jon Jensen, Donald Kelm, Nathan Simons and Braygen Calvin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrison Roberts, Dalton Roberts and Haydon Roberts. Along with all of Veryl's "Left Lane" Buddies and High School friends.
