Victoria Barron

• Victoria Mary Meleski Barron of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on August 5, 2019 at her retirement home in the Woodlands, Texas.
• Born June 13, 1926 in Chappell Hill, Texas, Vickie grew up in Houston and was very proud of her education from St. Agnes Academy. Her focus then was centered around raising her four boys in the Garden Oaks area before she pursued a career in sales, where her strong and lively personality served her well.
• Vickie was best known by those around her for her love of flowers and gardening and a deep passion for painting. Her favorite oil paintings were most often of the beautiful scenes that she had experienced across Texas and found joy in bringing them to life a second time on canvas.
• She will be missed dearly by her friends and family. She is survived by her four sons, Michael Earl Barron, Charles Kent Barron, Randall James Barron, and Russell Wayne Barron, her daughter in-laws Candee Barron and Kristi Barron and her 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
• Preceding her in death is her mother Nora Mikolajczak Meleski, her father John Meleski of Chappell Hill, her brother Florian John Meleski, and her daughter in-law Lynn Barron.
• There will be a family visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m on Friday, August 16th with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham, Texas. There will be a traditional funeral mass held Saturday, August 17 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church located at 9175 FM 1371 in Chappell Hill Texas beginning at 10 a.m.
• Following the mass there will be a graveside service held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Chappell Hill. Reception following at the Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli at 8900 Hwy 290E, Chappell Hill.
