Victoria Meschwitz

Victoria Meschwitz died June 14, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 21,2021 at Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Bob Hofmann officiating.  Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Burton, Texas.

Victoria was born March 23, 1941 to Tito and Chona (Regino) Ligues.  She was baptized in the First Baptist Church and attended Burton schools.  She worked at Burton nursing home and Brenham nursing home until her retirement.  She enjoyed taking care of her plants, drawing, and watching talk shows.

Victoria is survived by her daughter Marchell Meschwitz; grandchildren Marisia and Aramondo; brother Johnny and sister-in-law Darlene Ligues of Brenham, Texas; and sister Pas Kellogg of Crystal Falls, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tito and Chona Ligues; her brothers Willie and Ambrosio Ligues; her sisters Margaret and Frances Ligues.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Ligues, Nick Lopez, Ryan Stegmann, Autro Mayo, Terry Stegmann and Benjamin Ligues.
