Virginia Loewe

Virginia Ann Loewe, 61, died November 25, 2013 in Brenham Nursing and Rehab in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Pat Lehrer officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Virginia Loewe was born May 18, 1952 in Brenham to Steve and Louise Stegent Bolcerek. She worked as a secretary for the City of Brenham, and was a member of St. Mary''s Catholic Church. With a love of fishing, Virginia was known to catch fish each time she went. She loved animals, especially her cats, and enjoyed making Christmas wreaths for the holidays. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Laurie and Joe Gurka and Melonie and Dane Rau, all of Brenham; grandchildren: Kade Alan, Brady Lee, and Nate Brandon Rau, and Coy Robert Gurka.
