Vivian Richards Mathauser, 88, of Brenham, died March 13, 2016 at Scott and White Hospital in Brenham.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Phil Fenton officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Vivian Mathauser was born January 19, 1928 in Tampa, Florida to Archie Raymond Keene and Connie Mae Ward Keene. She married Jerry Mathauser on June 15, 1975.
Survivors include sons Patrick Richards of Arlington, VA., and Chris Richards and wife Mildred of Brownsville, TN.; daughter, Rosalind Boyce of Brenham; grandchildren: Kimberley Froboese of League City, Angela Kirby and Lisa Stanfield, both of Brownsville, TN.; great-grandchildren: Travis and Paige Froboese of League City, Alyssa Kirby, Shelby Stanfield, and Andrew Stanfield, all of Brownsville, TN.; brothers Raymond Keene Jr. and wife Mary, Rudy Keene and wife Frankie, Miles Keene and wife Carolyn, and Dennis Keene, all of Tampa, FL. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Mathauser, and a brother, Russell Keene.
Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Richards, Travis Froboese, David Richards, Brent Boyce, Troy Froboese, and Michale Mikeska.
