Waldo Franke

Waldo Allen Franke, 62 of Brenham, husband of Bonnie Franke, died August 15, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center. Waldo was born on September 9, 1946 to Erwin and Velma Krause Franke near Industry, Texas. . A 1965 graduate of Brenham High School, Waldo owned and operated Borden s Milk Co several years then Franke Feed Store for many years in Brenham. He served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Center Assembly of God. A loving father and husband, he always enjoyed spending time with his family. He was loved and respected by members of this community. Survivors include his wife Bonnie Franke; sons and daughters-in-law James and Christela Franke of Brenham, Kevin and Becky Franke of Brenham, daughter Dawn Franke of Washington, Texas, stepchildren: Aaron Ross of Brenham, Arranna Jakubik of College Station, Allanna Lancaster and husband Joshua of Brenham, brother and sister-in-law Erwin and Sophie Franke, Jr. of Pahrump, NV., sister Judy Rudloff of Brenham; grandchildren: Arik Franke, Aron Franke, Adam Franke, Ralph Walner, Ramsey Walner, Kyrston Walner, Kaydee Franke, Alexandra Franke, Nicholas Franke, Hope Franke, Analiese Franke, Tori Franke, Haley Jakubik, Brandon Stuart, Dakota Lancaster, Dusty Lancaster, former wife, Cathy Franke, and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and other relations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Velma Franke. Funeral services for Waldo Franke will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Cornerstone Christian Center with Waldo s son, Pastor Kevin Franke officiating, along with Pastor John Paul Cruz and Rev. David Beckworth. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Serving as pallbearers are Keith Korth, Michael Korth, Arik Franke, Aron Franke, Craig Deere, Billy Blume, Travis Ray Sander, and Vincent DeSalvo.
