Walter Frank Jozwiak, 68, of Chappell Hill, died Friday, January 16 in the Spring Branch Medical Center in Houston. Walter was born October 15, 1935, in Chappell Hill, to Walter J. and Martha Bilski Jozwiak. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill, and attended the Wonder Hill School. On September 14, 1957, he was married to Clara Kujawa in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill. He was retired from the Houston Lighting and Power Company, and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill. Survivors include his wife, Clara Kujawa Jozwiak of Chappell Hill; son and daughter-in-law; David & Renee Jozwiak of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Ryan & Niclole Jozwiak of Houston; brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve & Frances Jozwiak of Brookshire, TX, Charlie & Alice Jozwiak of New York, NY, Tony & Dorothy Jozwiak of Livingston TX; sisters and brother-in-law: Vicky Michalak of Adkins, TX, Verlyn Busa of Brenham, TX, and Ann & Ben Kubeczka of Conroe, TX; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Leona Jozwiak of Houston, Martha Jozwiak of Houston, Eugenia & Isidore Jozwiak of Chappell Hill, Josie Ann & Paul Bilski of Chappell Hill and Martha Jozwiak of Houston; and his special friend and care-giver, Dailene Glenn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Ted Jozwiak, Chester Jozwiak and Stanley Jozwiak; two sisters: Rosie Krolczyk and Cecilia Bednarek. Funeral mass for Walter Frank Jozwiak will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, Jan 20. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill with Father Gene Shepard, celebrant . Interment will be in the Church cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Monday, Jan. 19, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham. Walter s nephews will serve as pallbearers. The doctors and staff of the Spring Branch Medical Center will be considered honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be given to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Building fund or to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.
