Walter Loesch

Walter Henry Loesch, 74, died April 1, 2018 in Brenham.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Cornerstone Christian Center, with Charles Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Walter Loesch was born February 22, 1944 in Washington County to Albert Henry and Edna Becker Loesch. He served his country in the U. S. Army. On July 7, 1972, he married Diane Richardson in Richmond, Texas. Walter was employed as a mechanic and truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Diane, of Brenham; mother, Edna Loesch of Rosenberg; son, Walter Loesch, Jr., and daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Charles Riley, Jr., all of Brenham; brother, Larry Loesch of Beasley; sisters Geraldine Janacek of Richmond, and Shirley Russell of Brenham. Also surviving are seven grandchildren. Walter was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Donnie Loesch.

Walter’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be directed to the Washington Co. EMS, Rocky Creek or Latium VFD, or to Cornerstone Christian Center.
